Spiegel Online reports that there has been an increase in sale of the traditional garments, and with Oktoberfest celebrating its 200th anniversary this year, many manufacturers have seen a flood of orders for the costumes.
While many have flocked to Munich to celebrate at Oktoberfest, even those who are unable to make the voyage to the city have decided to get into the spirit and dress up in the Bavarian outfit and honor the festival as well.
