Employee morale boosters - throw a nurse appreciation party
Date Created: 05/09/2012
Nurses are a vital asset to every hospital. For Nurse Appreciation Week, throw a party for those professionals in your family whose efforts are always worthy of recognition.
Send out party invitations to family and friends, announcing that you would like to throw a party that will honor the nurse in your family for all the hard work he or she has done on the behalf of others. Ask everyone to bring food or other party supplies that will help make the environment more lively.
For party tableware, adorn the table in your dining room with plates, placemats, cups and a table spread that bares the quintessential medical symbol, the caduceus - the winged staff with snakes wrapping around it. Make pretty party centerpieces using seasonal flowers, which can represent the health and well-being that many people can attribute to the nurses that have been in their lives.
For a party game, hang a large piece of colorful corrugated paper on the wall and have everyone write down a great story or pleasant experience they have had in a hospital, thanks to a nurse. These could range from quick emergency room visits to times spent in recovery after surgery.
