DirecTV Super Bowl party expected to be a jaw-dropping affair

The NFL playoffs are underway and everyone's favorite unofficial national holiday is on the horizon - the Super Bowl! In light of this, many companies are pulling out all the stops to wow the attendees in Indianapolis, and it appears that DirecTV has taken the prize for the most over-the-top celebration imaginable, according to IndyStar.com.
This will be DirecTV's sixth annual Beach Bowl, a televised flag football game that pits Hollywood stars and pro athletes against one another. More than 700 tons of sand will be trucked in and a natural gas boiler system added to make downtown Indianapolis feel like a tropical getaway. According to the New York Post, the evening's festivities will end on Saturday night with a party hosted by Peyton Manning and Mark Cuban with a special performance from Katy Perry.
