Breast cancer awareness party honors survivors of the disease
Date Created: 08/10/2010
A recent luncheon was held in honor of breast cancer survivors to raise awareness about the disease with the help of Susan G Komen for the Cure.
More than 300 people RSVPed to attend the Cirque de Survivor luncheon held at the Eldorado Resort Hotel and Casino in Shreveport, Louisiana, The Shreveport Times reports.
The event was hosted by the Northwest Louisiana Affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure and the Eldorado. Guests were treated to a fabulous lunch, a fashion show featuring clothes provided by local boutique Knox Goodman's and modeled by breast cancer survivors.
Surviving breast cancer is a remarkable feat, and it should be celebrated with a breast cancer awareness party.
Invite all of you closets friends and family with party invitations decorated in pink, the color of the breast cancer movement.
A large personalized banner can greet your guests with the word 'survivor' scrawled across it.
This is a time to celebrate and enjoy life, so go all out with the decorations. Streamers, balloons and confetti in pink and white should be plastered all over the place.
Send each of your guests home with a personalized mint tin to commemorate the event.
