Casino Confetti In The Classroom

You can use casino confetti in the classroom, too. During your student's lessons on ratios or probability, hand out a handful of black jack confetti and a little baggie. Have them sort the different colors or shapes based on your lessons. They may have 2 black diamonds out of 5. Or teach them about their chances to get pick a "red heart" or "black heart" out of their bag. After they've mastered their math lessons, celebrate with a fun, little money themed classroom party. Reward them with a black jack chocolate candy bar or pack of playing cards. Your students will always remember the day their learned math in your classroom.
